The Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club
We are Blue Knights Wales ll. We are part of an international Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club.
The Blue Knights LEMCC was formed back in 1974. In a town in Bangor Maine USA. It was formed by a few Law Enforcement officers that had the idea of riding together and the idea grew to what it is today. With 1000s of members world wide. Blue Knights have been involved in many fund raising campaigns, raising thousands of pounds for charity. Its ethos is that of family fun and motorcycling. Meeting Law Enforcement friends from around the world and promoting safe motorcycle riding.
Blue Knights Wales 11 grew out of Blue Knights Wales 1. This was due to the distances travelled across South wales and that most of its members were serving officers.
Our catchment area is around South and West Wales and also has officers in North West Wales.
To qualify as a Blue Knight. You must have a power of arrest and be part of a nationaly recognised Government Law Enforcement deparrtment. or having retired completed at least 15 years service and be awarded a pension from that department. Having left or retired as a member in good standing
